Suggested items to bring:

  • Comfortable clothing - Layers are best as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.

  • Coat/rain gear - Be prepared for spending time outside when it might be cold and rainy. Meeting rooms, lodging and dining take place in separate buildings.

  • Walking shoes/boots - Some sessions involve site visits or walking tours.

  • Medications and personal care items - If you forget something, Silverdale has the closest stores and is 15 minutes away.

  • Laptop/tablet and charger - Wi-Fi is available.

  • Reusable water bottle/travel mug - Stay hydrated and reduce waste. Ways to refill bottles and mugs are provided.

  • Snacks - While meals and some snacks are provided during the day, you may want something for the evenings. Non-perishable items in closed containers are best as not all housing have refrigerators and Seabeck is the woods which are home to lots of snack loving critters.

  • Flashlight/headlamp - Lodging site or walkways are dimly lit at night.

  • Cash - Tips for Conference Center Staff who make and serve the meals are collected at the end of the week. Bring cash if you would like to contribute.
