The PNWRMS is offered through the International Northwest Parks and Recreation Association. INPRA has been a significant resource and contributor to the parks and recreation profession in the Pacific Northwest throughout the years.
The organization is primarily park maintenance and operations oriented with emphasis on maintenance administration, facility maintenance and field operations. Participation by all levels of management, supervisory and field staff is actively encouraged and vital to the success of the organization. In addition to the Pacific Northwest Resource Management Schools, INPRA has sponsored multiple training over the years including Institutes and Pacific Northwest Administrator's Academy.

Ken has been Executive Director with the International Northwest Parks and Recreation Association since 2003 and works at the headquarters office in University Place, Washington, USA. Ken’s career eclipsed over 43 years in the public parks and recreation field in resource management in Washington. In his spare time, he enjoys travel and boating in the waters of Washington and British Columbia.

Drawing on 25 years in municipal government, Joanna is a seasoned professional specializing in recreation, special events, facility rentals, parks and urban forestry management. Her education provides a multidisciplinary approach to effective public service combining a Master of Public Administration with Bachelor's degrees in Recreation Management, Speech Communication and Psychology. Joanna's management style was profoundly shaped as a foster parent for 10 years where she expanded her knowledge of crisis management, trauma-informed care, trust-building, cultural competence and neurodiversity. Joanna served as a PNWRMS Regent and guest speaker from 2012-2026.
